At the Goodwill store on Haight Street, they display all the donated sweaters in a beautful color spectrum. I photographed them in 2009 with the thought of assembling the images into a larger piece.
In 2022, I created a 4 panel synchronized video display powered by 5 Raspberry Pi computers.
The system is powered by four Raspberry Pi Zero2 computers and a Raspberry Pi 4, all communicating through a router. Who knew Linux networking could be fun? Thanks to Kyle Zetts for the helpful PiWall Tutorial.
The frame is handbuilt in walnut, and uses Black 3 paint (a favorite I’ve used in several projects.)
